Dr Fetaomi Tapu-Qiliho

Dr Fetaomi Tapu-Qiliho is a part time lecturer in Sociology at the National University of Samoa with a focus upon social and academic research, gender, project management, monitoring and evaluation and partnership brokering. 

She holds a PhD in Pacific Studies from the University of Otago and has over 15 years’ experience working in Pacific communities, Tertiary level education, NGO project management and Pacific Churches engagement.   

Fetaomi is a skilled communicator with strong critical thinking and leadership capabilities. Highly engaged with her community, Fetaomi is a patron of the Samoa Performance Arts and Creative Excellence (S.P.A.C.E.) centre., as well as a founding member of two PeaceBuilding NGO’s in Fiji.  

Fetaomi is committed to her pastoral ministry at her local Anglican church and visits the elderly and the sick every week with her husband.
