Dr Seng Mom
Vice Rector, Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), Cambodia
Dr Seng Mom received her PhD from Georg August University, Goettingen, Germany in the field of Agriculture Science. Her scientific interest is animal nutrition and production.
Dr Seng Mom has enjoyed a long career journey at RUA, beginning in 1995 as the Head of International Cooperation, then Dean of the Graduate School and now the Vice Rector Human Resources. In 2014 she founded the National Conference for Agriculture and Rural Development (NCRAD) which has grown to become an annual conference involving many institutions across Cambodia.
As an alumni of Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEAMEO-SEARCA) in 2016 Dr Seng Mom was awarded SEARCA's Emerging Leaders in Transition Economies (ELITE).
She served as Cambodia representative in governing board member of SEAMEO –SEARCA, 2017-2019. Dr Seng Mom is also responsible as project coordinator for RUA to implement Higher Education Improvement Project (HEIP) a Word Bank Loan Project (2018-2023).
